Tom Sparks: Music

I Can't Wait To Talk To Her Next Time

(performed by Tom Sparks)
written by Tom Sparks
Talking with a poet on the telephone, talking with no reason or no rhyme,
Felt so good just after I hung-up the phone that I can't wait to talk to her next time.
Right now, I couldn't pick her out of a small crowd, even if my life was on the line,
Yet I'm feeling pretty doggone good inside, and I can't wait to talk to her next time.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I will see her walking down the street sometime,
And if I'm real lucky, I will meet her, and we can get together and have a good time.

She said she has a split personality, and her pick-up truck she drives on 'down the line',
We talked about talking later on some day, and I can't wait to talk to her next time.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I will see her walking down the street sometime,
And if I'm real lucky, I will meet her, and we can get together and have a good time.

Right now, I couldn't pick her out of a small crowd, even if my life was on the line,
Yet I'm feeling pretty doggone good inside, and I can't wait to talk to her next time.
(I) can't wait to talk to her next time, (I) can't wait to talk to her next time.
